NEW! Click & Go
Modular outlet system, THE solution for simplifying your migration path from coax to fiber
braun teleCom GmbH has launched its new modular outlet system "Click & Go". This new modular outlet platform is designed for operators who are looking for a flexible outlet solution. The"Click & Go" modular outlet solution enables operators to configure their own outlet configuration. Whether there is a need for a fiber outlet, a coax-outlet, or a combination of both with a filtered Push-On-Adaptor (POA): The appropriate combination for every situation can be selected!

It is a challenge for network operators to keep the number of truck rolls as low as possible to help the company remain competitive. A customer visit is expensive and in many cases not easy to schedule. So when a field technician is on the customer premises for installation and/or upgrade activities, he needs to ensure that what he installs or replaces is future-proof, prepared for DOCSIS 3.1 and beyond and preferably fiber-ready!
The "Click & Go" concept can be installed in existing standard in-wall boxes or in surface-mount based installations and provides:
Click & Go outlet including POA and a Duplex LC/APC fiber connector
– Optical FTTH Network termination with 4 optical fibers max
– Optical click-in modules with LC/APC connectors with separate
internal safety shutters at the front side
– Single isolated RF click-in modules 90° with either IEC or
F-type Connector
– 45° angled RF click-in module F-type with a double galvanic
isolator frequency range 5-3000 MHz
– Screening efficiency Class A + 15dB

1310/1550nm transmitters DOCSIS 3.1 ready!
More and more cable operators decide to upgrade their networks for DOCSIS 3.1. To have all the benefits of DOCSIS 3.1 their RF-Plant needs to support a frequency range up to 1.2GHz.
braun teleCom GmbH is therefore proud to announce that its upgraded OPTIline plus 1310/1550nm transmitter line supporting an RF-bandwidth up to 1.2GHz will be released at the ANGA COM 2018.
The OPTIline plus series consists of a wide range of 1310nm and 1550nm transmitters. Its flagship is the OTXE-1550, an externally modulated high-end, yet cost effective, 1550nm transmitter supporting CWDM-wavelengths.
Due to its adjustable SBS-range up to 19dB, the OTXE can be used in both large HFC-distribution networks and long distance optical RF-transports over fiber with lengths of 100Km or more.
To ensure a highly fail-safe network design, braun teleCom has equipped all OPTIline plus devices with high-quality dual hot-swappable power supplies in load-sharing configuration. In case of a power supply breakdown a single power supply unit can feed the whole unit. SNMP and the integrated web-server enable the operator to monitor and manage the OPTIline plus products remotely.
