Look forward to innovative products at the Fiberdays22

After a very successful ANGA COM with many interesting discussions, we are already looking forward to the next big event: In less than two weeks, from 14 to 15 June, the Fiberdays22 will take place in Wiesbaden, Germany!

So don't miss the chance to visit us in Hall North at Stand 804 (directly opposite the hall entrance). In keeping with the spirit of the event, our focus for the Fiberdays is on fiber optic technology. We will be happy to present active optical systems such as our Hardened EDFAs and the new XGS-PON gateways from our partner DKT, as well as passive solutions such as the WAVEPACE wall boxes and FTTH wall outlets. In the course of this newsletter, we are happy to give you some details on selected product highlights.

Fiberdays product highlight:
DKT Gateways

With a product combination of passive FTUs (fiber termination units) and active Gateways (ONTs), our partner DKT offers a sophisticated and innovative solution for FTTH network termination.

In particular, the ONTs, which are available in 1G, 10G, EPON and XGS-PON versions, set standards in terms of flexibility. Thus, they can be combined with all standard OLTs as well as, due to the layer 2 approach, 3rd party routers. Thanks to simple click-on installation, zero-touch provisioning and plug-and-play functionality, the gateways can be flexibly activated by your end customer and replaced as required, resulting in a significant reduction in the costs of future upgrades (to XGS-PON, for example) and operation.

Fiberdays product highlight:
WAVEPACE MDU Wallbox

Besides a large selection of solutions of the passive FTTX product series WAVEPACE, especially the MDU Wallbox stands out with a well-thought-out concept for network level 3 termination: Its three-part modular design, consisting of housing, fiber module and cover (each of which can be installed independently of the other) enables a flexible and quick installation.

The various pre-installed versions also actively counteract the shortage of skilled workers in fiber optic installation, as installation can also be carried out by semi-skilled installers. In addition, the compact design with dimensions of only 250 x 170 x 90 mm for up to 72 splices and 48 LC or 24 SC ports enables installation even in the smallest technical rooms.
