we are happy to announce that braun teleCom as solution provider and system integrator in cooperation with CommScope will modernize the broadband network of PŸUR, a brand of Tele Columbus AG, with a DOCSIS® 3.1 as well as a Remote PHY Distributed Access Architecture.
A full access network technology migration across Germany is planned to increase network capacity, achieve operational efficiencies, and deliver faster speeds, enabling a better user-experience to subscribers. The solution encompasses CommScope’s E6000® Converged Edge Router and the CommScope E6000r Remote PHY Shelf to support DOCSIS® 3.1 and to prepare PŸUR’s network for the evolution towards 10G.
